Salon du Château

What makes France such a special country is its number of castles and historical residences. I have been working for years for Châteaux-Story, a guide of the castles of France.

I redesigned the website (www.chateaux-story.com), took an active part to the blog as a writer, and created various event websites for this organization. The latest was Le Salon du Château et des Demeures de Caractère. It took place in March 2015.

For this event, aimed at the professionals of the industry (castle owners, service providers), I was in charge of all the aspects of graphic communication, from the logo to the access badges, and of course, the website.

It was a low budget project with a very short deadline, but still, the site is fully compatible with mobile devices and features a function to generate the access badges online, along with a Back Office functionality to scan the barcodes and thus track the visitors.

The homepage

1. A view of the homepage, with a call-to-action to get the badge.

The badge

2. The access badge was generated from the website, after subscription.
