It doesn't happen frequently, but I had the opportunity to get direct feedback from the costumers of this store specialized in first-quality produce and organic products.
The current Wordpress website faced several technical problems and didn't meet the costumers' expectations. We agreed with the client to redesign the site, while preserving the same look & feel.
I fixed first the technical issues and connected the online database to the store management system in order to process updates automatically, saving the manager a considerable amount of time (in this business prices change every day).
Then I focused on UX design, taking advantage of the information gathered from the costumers. The new design makes it clear where the store is located with a very visible address, along with a prominent and callable phone number, and a Google map, right on the homepage.
The whole order process has been redesigned, from product selection to checkout and order confirmation.
The project was put in stand-by before production due to the unexpected relocation of the store. The testing phase will resume once this is accomplished.
