Ludovica was founded in 2015, by the Italian Venezuelan designer Maria-Ludovica Marchegiani with the idea of creating fine jewelry pieces that combine Italian design with Latin American flair.
I designed and developed her website based on a short brief she wrote. She wanted "an elegant and minimalistic look, with a feminine, delicate and sophisticate feel".
I worked directly with her, and together we went through a lot of mock-ups, very detailed and made with Photoshop, since she wanted to control the exact look-and-feel of the product.
The funny thing is, even if the brief said that the website must be mobile-friendly, it was NOT what I thought. What she meant by mobile-friendly was that the pages should shrink, to look exactly the same on mobile devices as on her desktop.
So I had no choice but to remove the viewport tag, making all media queries inoperative. This is probably the only responsive website wittingly not responsive.

3. An intermediate version, we are getting close to the client's vision.
