Formations aux Meilleurs Prix
The website of French training organization FMP (Formations aux Meilleurs Prix) was too similar to that of its partner —yet competitor—, LMCF (Le Moins Cher en Formation). Through the web agency Datalinx, I have been tasked to redesign the site, a relatively easy task given that I already knew their field of activity.
The brief from the client was all about quality of education provided by experienced professionals, but my study of the user profiles showed that they didn't care about that, they only wanted their diploma in the easiest way and at the cheapest cost.
With this in mind, I designed a new version saying "We are the cheapest and we are close to you". Price, displayed upfront, and proximity, through the prominent map of France inviting the user to click on his region.
Geolocation was finally discarded, no solution being precise enough for France, and I added a Callback button in the header instead of the phone number (too similar to the competitors).
Trainings are clearly identified with brightly colored circles. It's trendy but it works well here.
